If you're looking for a steak that can be almost as tender as a Filet but not cost you an arm and a leg? Well we have the steak for you! The Flat Iron steak has gained a lot of popularity becuase of it's higher marbling, tenderness and affordability. Now this wasn't always the case for this relatively new cut of meat.
Coming from the shoulder of the cattle, it took a lot of innovative research to devise a plan for cutting this steak from aound a sea of connective tissue, but they did it and boy are we glad they did! Give it a try to see what all the rave is about!
